How to choose the best electricity plan in Texas Selecting a North American Power plan without knowing your home’s energy usage can cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars.

North American Power residential plans North American Power presents a variety of retail electricity plans to Texas consumers. Electricity contracts are available in lengths ranging from six months to three years. Applicants can select fixed-rate plans for their homes during high-demand periods in the summer and winter. The company also features green electric plans that offset carbon emissions for 100% of monthly usage through the purchase of renewable energy certificates.

North American Powercustomer service & bill payment A key element of North American Power’s service to customers is its energy analysis tool available via smartphone. This tool uses past and current usage to project future usage for the user’s home. North American Power also shows energy consumption from each area of the home to pinpoint efficient or inefficient usage. The analysis tool also provides customized recommendations for reducing energy usage and monthly bills.
North American Power features a national customer service line and Texas-specific customer service line open Monday through Friday. Customers can also use their online accounts to reach out to the company’s customer representatives via email. North American Power does not provide utility repair service, which is handled by local utility providers.
Customers interested in learning more about energy consumption and conservation can access North American Power’s learning center. This virtual library features categories on energy efficiency, technology, and news on the energy industry.
North American Power reviews Looking for ratings and reviews for North American Power?
Several companies rate electricity providers. Compare Power does not include customer reviews as they are generally biased or easy to manipulate and skew one way or the other (positive or negative).
